Toyota Supra Competition Official Rules

COMPLETE OFFICIAL RULES

1. Sponsor and Administrator

The Competition is sponsored and administered by Sim Racing Naperville, located at 1911 Glacier Park Ave., Suite 103, Naperville, Illinois. Sim Racing Naperville is referred to in these Official Rules as the “Sponsor.”

The Sponsor administers qualifying, timing, leaderboard results, eligibility verification, finalist selection, competition procedures, and prize verification.

2. Nature of the Competition

The Toyota Supra Competition is a bona fide competition of driving skill and speed. Performance determines the outcome.

No lottery, sweepstakes drawing, random drawing, coin flip, lottery number, random-number generator, or other chance-based mechanism will determine qualifying position, advancement to the Top 45, advancement through the finals, final finishing position, or the Competition champion.

Where a tie must be resolved, a skill-based tiebreaking procedure described in these Official Rules will be used.

3. Basic Eligibility

To participate, a person must:

• Be at least 17 years old at the time of participation;
• Be a United States citizen;
• Maintain their primary residence within the United States;
• If under age 18, maintain their primary residence within Illinois;
• Participate under their own true identity;
• Meet the professional-driver eligibility requirements contained in these Official Rules;
• Personally drive every lap submitted under their name; and
• Comply with the competition procedures and conduct requirements established in these Official Rules.

Eligibility is subject to verification. The Competition is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.

4. Participants Under Age 18

Only participants who are at least 17 years old may enter. A participant who is under 18 must be an Illinois resident.

Qualifying: No parent or guardian competition consent is required solely for a 17-year-old to purchase and complete an official Supra qualifying session.

If the Minor Reaches the Top 45: If a participant is under 18 when finalist status is being confirmed, the finalist position is provisional until a parent or legal guardian provides the written consent and documentation required by the Sponsor.

The parent or legal guardian may be required to:

• Confirm permission for the minor to compete at Sim Gaming Expo;
• Confirm the participant’s identity, age, citizenship, and Illinois residency;
• Cooperate with finalist check-in and travel arrangements;
• Consent to reasonable filming, photography, broadcasting, and event-publicity requirements;
• Cooperate with any prize and tax documentation if the minor wins; and
• Cooperate with any lawful vehicle-title or custodial arrangement required if the minor wins the Supra.

Parent or guardian consent must be received by the deadline stated in the finalist notification. If the required consent is not received, the participant may not compete in the live finals and the finalist position may be offered to the next-fastest eligible participant.

If the participant has turned 18 before finalist documentation is required, parental consent is not required.

Nothing in this section is intended to waive any legal right of a minor that cannot lawfully be waived by a parent, guardian, or minor.

5. Professional Sim Racing Exclusion

Participants with qualifying professional-level sim racing experience are not eligible.

Specifically, a participant is ineligible if, during the period beginning September 6, 2016 and ending September 6, 2026, that participant started an official race in a World Championship-level sim racing competition.

For purposes of this Rule, “World Championship-level” means a top-tier international sim racing series, championship, or final formally designated or promoted by its organizer or sanctioning body as a World Championship, World Final, or equivalent highest international championship level.

“Started an official race” means the participant actually took the start of an official competition race. Merely entering qualifying, attempting to qualify, practicing, testing, or participating in a non-championship exhibition does not constitute a World Championship start.

Ordinary public racing, local leagues, regional leagues, amateur competitions, national competitions, and other events that are not World Championship-level do not by themselves make a participant ineligible.

A participant who is uncertain about eligibility should request an eligibility determination from the Sponsor. The Sponsor may use official results, public databases, league records, published driver profiles, and other reliable evidence when evaluating eligibility.

6. Professional Real-World Racing Exclusion

A person who has competed as a professional race car driver in a national-level professional automobile racing series is not eligible.

In determining whether a driver falls within this exclusion, the Sponsor may consider:

• The classification of the racing series;
• Whether the series operates on a national level;
• Whether the participant competed as a professional driver;
• Professional racing licenses;
• Published results;
• Professional driver biographies;
• Compensation or contractual professional-driver status; and
• Other reliable evidence of professional national-level competition.

Amateur club racing, karting, autocross, track days, HPDE events, driving schools, local racing, and similar activities do not automatically constitute professional national-level automobile racing.

7. Employees and Competition Administrators

The Sponsor’s owners, employees, contractors, or other individuals who have access to confidential competition settings or who are directly responsible for administering or determining official competition results are not eligible to win.

A person may also be declared ineligible where participation would create a material conflict of interest affecting the integrity of the Competition.

8. Official Supra Qualifying Session

Each official Supra Session:

• Costs $50;
• Provides 75 minutes of simulator time; and
• Must be completed in person at Sim Racing Naperville.

Only laps completed during an authorized Supra Session are eligible for the official leaderboard. Remote submissions, home simulator laps, laps completed at another facility, videos of lap times, screenshots, or independently submitted timing data are not accepted.

The registered participant must personally drive the qualifying laps. A participant may not allow another person to drive under their identity or qualifying account.

9. Multiple Qualifying Sessions

Participants may purchase and complete more than one official Supra Session before qualifying closes, subject to session availability.

Each participant receives only one leaderboard position. The participant’s fastest valid official lap across all completed qualifying sessions is the lap used for leaderboard ranking.

Purchasing additional sessions does not guarantee improvement, advancement, or any prize.

10. Standardized Competition Conditions

The Sponsor establishes and controls the official qualifying configuration. Competition-controlled settings will be standardized for participants, including the designated:

• Vehicle;
• Vehicle setup;
• Track;
• Track configuration;
• Weather;
• Track conditions;
• Game/simulation settings; and
• Competition-controlled assists and settings.

Participants may not modify or attempt to modify locked competition settings.

Normal ergonomic adjustments necessary to accommodate the driver, such as seating position or other approved physical adjustments, may be permitted and do not constitute changes to the competitive setup.

11. Unauthorized Assistance or Modifications

Participants may not use or attempt to use:

• Unauthorized driving assists;
• Unauthorized custom setups;
• Scripts;
• Macros;
• Automation;
• Modified game files;
• Unauthorized software;
• Exploits;
• External tools that provide an unauthorized competitive advantage;
• Unauthorized hardware modifications; or
• Another person to control or assist operation of the vehicle.

Attempting to bypass or manipulate competition settings may result in immediate disqualification.

12. Valid Laps

Only laps accepted as valid by the official simulation software and Sponsor’s competition system are eligible.

A lap may be invalidated because of:

• Track-limit violations;
• Cutting the course;
• Simulator-generated invalidation;
• Unauthorized vehicle or setup changes;
• Timing-system irregularities;
• Exploitation of software or track behavior; or
• Violation of these Official Rules.

The official timing data maintained by the Sponsor controls the leaderboard.

13. Leaderboard

Eligible drivers are ranked from fastest to slowest based on their fastest valid official qualifying lap.

Leaderboard positions remain provisional until qualifying closes and eligibility verification is complete.

A participant’s displayed leaderboard position does not guarantee finalist status if the participant is later determined to be ineligible.

14. Qualifying Deadline

Qualifying ends September 6, 2026 at the official qualifying cutoff posted by Sim Racing Naperville.

An eligible lap must be completed before the cutoff. A booking or payment made before the deadline does not preserve eligibility if the actual qualifying session is not completed before qualifying closes.

Participants are responsible for booking sufficiently early to complete their session before the deadline.

15. Ties at the Top-45 Cutoff

If two or more drivers have identical official fastest lap times and the tie affects qualification for the Top 45, the tie will be resolved by skill rather than chance.

The Sponsor may first compare the tied drivers’ next-fastest valid official laps. If still tied, additional valid laps may be compared in order.

If the tie cannot be resolved from existing official results, the affected drivers may be required to complete an additional supervised qualifying attempt under equal competition conditions.

No random drawing or chance-based method will be used.

16. Technical or Equipment Failure During Qualifying

If Sponsor-controlled simulator hardware, software, network, timing equipment, or another Sponsor-controlled technical issue materially interferes with a qualifying attempt, the Sponsor may provide an appropriate remedy.

Depending on the circumstances, that remedy may include:

• Pausing the session;
• Restoring qualifying time;
• Moving the participant to another simulator;
• Restarting an affected portion of the session; or
• Providing a replacement attempt.

The purpose of the remedy is to restore, as reasonably as possible, the competitive opportunity lost because of the technical problem.

A driver’s crash, spin, mistake, penalty, invalid lap, failure to control the vehicle, or other driver-caused incident is not considered equipment failure.

17. Selection of the Top 45

After qualifying closes, the Sponsor will identify the 45 fastest eligible participants.

All Top-45 positions remain subject to eligibility verification. Finalists may be required to provide documentation confirming:

• Identity;
• Date of birth;
• U.S. citizenship;
• U.S. residency;
• Illinois residency if under 18;
• Sim racing history;
• Real-world racing history; and
• Compliance with these Official Rules.

If a Top-45 driver is disqualified, declines the finalist position, cannot attend, fails to respond to finalist communications, or fails required verification, the Sponsor may offer the position to the next-fastest eligible participant.

18. Finalist Attendance

Finalists must attend the Competition in person at Sim Gaming Expo on September 18–19, 2026.

Finalists must comply with check-in deadlines, credentialing requirements, driver meetings, competition briefings, simulator assignment procedures, and reasonable event instructions.

Failure to appear or check in as required may result in disqualification if the event cannot reasonably accommodate the late participant.

Travel and lodging are not included unless the Sponsor expressly states otherwise in writing.

19. September 18 — Top 45 Competition

On September 18, the 45 finalists will be divided into three groups of 15 drivers.

Each group will compete under the official event format and standardized competition conditions.

The Top 5 drivers from each group will advance. After all three groups are completed, a total of 15 drivers will advance to the championship competition on September 19.

Group assignments and starting procedures will be communicated to finalists before competition begins and applied consistently.

20. September 19 — Final 15

The remaining 15 drivers will compete on September 19. The championship will consist of three races.

Drivers will earn championship points according to the official points system communicated for the Final 15 competition.

The complete points schedule will be provided in writing to all championship drivers before the first Day 2 race begins. The same points schedule will apply equally to all drivers and may not be changed after the first championship race begins.

All three championship races will count toward each driver’s total score. There will be no dropped race or excluded score.

The competitor with the highest total number of championship points after all three races will be declared the Toyota Supra Competition Champion, subject to eligibility and final verification.

21. Championship Points Tiebreaker

If two or more drivers finish the three championship races with the same number of championship points, the tied driver with the better finishing position in Race 3 will be ranked higher.

Because competitors cannot occupy the same official finishing position in Race 3, this procedure will determine the ranking between tied drivers once official Race 3 results are final.

22. Starts, Penalties, and Race Control

Finalists must follow the competition procedures established for the live event.

Race control may issue appropriate penalties for violations including:

• Jump starts;
• Illegal overtaking;
• Avoidable contact;
• Intentional wrecking;
• Track-limit abuse;
• Shortcuts;
• Failure to follow race-control instructions;
• Exploitation of game mechanics; or
• Other unsportsmanlike conduct.

Penalties may include warnings, time penalties, position penalties, loss of points, lap deletion, or disqualification depending on the severity of the violation.

23. Sportsmanship

Participants must compete honestly and in good faith.

The following conduct is prohibited:

• Cheating;
• Collusion;
• Deliberately manipulating results;
• Allowing another person to compete under a participant’s identity;
• Providing false eligibility information;
• Tampering with equipment;
• Intentionally interfering with another participant’s simulator;
• Exploiting a known software or timing malfunction;
• Threatening or abusive conduct;
• Intentional wrecking; or
• Attempting to obtain an unfair competitive advantage in violation of these Official Rules.

Serious misconduct may result in immediate disqualification.

24. Official Results

Results become official after the Sponsor has had a reasonable opportunity to verify timing, penalties, technical issues, eligibility, and compliance with these Official Rules.

Displayed or preliminary results may be corrected if a timing, scoring, eligibility, or administrative error is discovered before results become official.

Sponsor decisions concerning competition timing, scoring, equipment, penalties, and eligibility will be made in good faith and are final for purposes of competition administration, subject to applicable law.

25. Grand Prize

The Competition’s Grand Prize is the Toyota Supra designated and displayed by Sim Racing Naperville as the prize vehicle.

The approximate advertised value of the vehicle is $60,000.

The vehicle will be awarded to the verified Competition champion subject to compliance with these Official Rules and completion of required prize-transfer documentation.

The prize is the vehicle itself and is not redeemable for cash at the winner’s request.

The difference between the advertised approximate value and the vehicle’s actual fair market value at the time of transfer will not be paid to the winner.

26. Winner Under Age 18

A participant under 18 may win the Competition.

If the verified winner is still under 18 at the time the prize is awarded, the Sponsor will work with the winner’s parent or legal guardian to complete the vehicle transfer in a manner permitted by Illinois law and applicable title, tax, registration, and insurance requirements.

The Sponsor may require that title or custody of the vehicle be handled through a parent, guardian, legally permitted custodian, or other lawful arrangement for the benefit of the minor winner.

The fact that title or custody must temporarily be handled through an adult because of the winner’s age does not change the official Competition result.

The under-18 winner and parent or legal guardian must reasonably cooperate with all documentation necessary to complete the lawful transfer. Physical possession or title transfer may be delayed until those legal requirements are satisfied.

27. Vehicle Title and Possession

Before receiving the vehicle, the winner must provide all information reasonably required for lawful title transfer and tax reporting.

The winner is responsible for satisfying any legal requirements necessary to operate the vehicle on public roads.

A winner may not drive the prize vehicle from the transfer location unless the winner is legally permitted to do so and has all legally required licensing, registration, and insurance.

The Sponsor will provide the documentation required of the Sponsor for lawful vehicle transfer.

28. Taxes, Title, Registration, and Insurance

The winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes resulting from receipt of the Grand Prize.

Unless expressly stated otherwise by the Sponsor, the winner is also responsible for:

• Registration;
• License plates;
• Insurance;
• Personal transportation expenses;
• Any tax obligations imposed on the winner; and
• Other ordinary costs associated with ownership and operation of the vehicle.

The Sponsor may require the winner or, where legally appropriate, the winner’s parent, guardian, or custodian to provide taxpayer-identification information and complete documents required for federal or state reporting.

The Sponsor will issue any tax-information forms required by applicable law.

29. Failure or Refusal to Accept the Prize

The verified winner must cooperate with reasonable steps necessary to transfer the Grand Prize.

If the winner refuses the prize, refuses required tax or title documentation, is ultimately determined to be ineligible, or otherwise cannot lawfully accept the prize because of circumstances attributable to the winner, the Sponsor may declare the prize forfeited and apply the official final Competition results to determine the next eligible recipient.

Any such determination will preserve the skill-based results of the Competition.

30. Travel and Personal Expenses

Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing by the Sponsor, qualifying and finalist participation do not include airfare, transportation, lodging, meals, parking, lost wages, or other personal expenses.

Each participant is responsible for arranging and paying their own travel to qualifying and the live finals.

For a finalist under age 18, any travel and supervision arrangements required by the parent or guardian are the responsibility of the participant and parent or guardian.

31. Photography, Video, and Event Coverage

The live finals are a public promotional and competition event and may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, recorded, interviewed, or otherwise documented.

Adult finalists may be required to execute reasonable media and publicity documentation as a condition of participating in the live event.

For a finalist under age 18, the Sponsor may require the participant’s parent or legal guardian to provide appropriate consent for photography, video, livestreaming, interviews, and promotional use associated with the Competition.

Any such documentation will be subject to applicable law.

32. Safety and Facility Rules

Participants must comply with reasonable safety rules and instructions issued by Sim Racing Naperville, Sim Gaming Expo, event staff, venue personnel, or competition officials.

The Sponsor may remove a participant whose conduct creates an unreasonable safety risk to the participant, other competitors, staff, spectators, equipment, or the venue.

Facility or event participation may also be subject to separate safety acknowledgments or participation documentation to the extent permitted by applicable law.

33. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Responsibility

Participants acknowledge that simulator use and live-event attendance involve ordinary risks, including force-feedback steering wheels, simulator movement, electrical equipment, physical exertion, crowds, slips, falls, and the actions of other participants or attendees.

Participants must follow all safety instructions and must immediately stop using equipment if instructed to do so.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, adult participants release the Sponsor, its owners, employees, contractors, agents, event partners, venue providers, equipment providers, and software providers from claims arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance, ownership, transportation, or use of the prize, except for claims arising from gross negligence, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be waived.

Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to require a minor or a minor’s parent or guardian to waive a claim or legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.

34. Disqualification

A participant may be disqualified for a material violation of these Official Rules, including:

• Failing eligibility requirements;
• Providing false information;
• Cheating;
• Unauthorized setup modification;
• Timing manipulation;
• Impersonation;
• Collusion;
• Tampering with competition equipment;
• Serious unsportsmanlike conduct; or
• Interfering with fair administration of the Competition.

When reasonably possible, the Sponsor may investigate alleged violations before imposing disqualification.

35. Event Changes and Force Majeure

If circumstances outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control prevent a portion of the Competition from proceeding as scheduled, the Sponsor may postpone, reschedule, suspend, or reasonably modify the affected portion.

Examples may include venue closure, severe weather, government action, safety emergency, widespread equipment or software failure, power or network outage, or another circumstance that makes continuation impracticable or unfair.

Any modification will be designed, to the extent reasonably possible, to preserve:

1. The skill-based nature of the Competition;
2. Equal competitive conditions;
3. Previously earned results; and
4. Fair treatment of participants.

The Sponsor may not substitute a random selection process for a skill-based Competition because of such circumstances.

36. Correction of Errors

The Sponsor may correct genuine clerical, scoring, timing, leaderboard, or eligibility errors.

A correction may include removing an invalid time, restoring a valid result, correcting a participant’s identity, or adjusting a leaderboard position based on verified official data.

This provision does not authorize the Sponsor to arbitrarily change valid Competition results.

37. Promotional Materials

Flyers, advertisements, social media posts, emails, videos, employee explanations, and other promotional materials may summarize the Competition.

These Official Rules govern the Competition. If promotional material unintentionally conflicts with these Official Rules, these Official Rules control, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

38. Interpretation of Rules

These Official Rules will be interpreted to preserve fair, consistent, skill-based competition.

The Sponsor may resolve an issue not expressly addressed by these Official Rules using a reasonable procedure consistent with the existing Rules, equal treatment of competitors, objective competition performance, and the skill-based nature of the Competition.

The Sponsor will not use chance to decide a competitive result where a skill-based method can reasonably resolve the issue.

39. Governing Law

The Competition is administered in Illinois. To the extent permitted by applicable law, these Official Rules and the administration of the Competition are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.

Before filing a legal action, a participant must provide the Sponsor with written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution and allow the Sponsor a reasonable opportunity to attempt to resolve the matter, unless immediate action is legally required to preserve a claim.

40. Rules Control, Severability, and Acceptance

These Official Rules control over any conflicting advertisement, graphic, social-media post, prior date, verbal statement, FAQ, or other Competition description.

If any portion of these Official Rules is found invalid or unenforceable, that portion will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

For adult participants, booking and participating in a Supra Session constitutes acknowledgment of these Official Rules.

For participants under 18, participation in qualifying remains subject to the competition conditions and scoring procedures stated in these Official Rules, while any contractual rights unique to minors remain governed by applicable law.

If an under-18 participant reaches the Top 45, the additional parent or guardian consent described above must be completed before finalist status becomes final.

Sponsor reserves the right to amend these Official Rules when reasonably necessary to correct an error, comply with applicable law, protect participant safety, address circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control, or preserve the fairness and integrity of the Competition. Any material amendment will be communicated to affected participants. No amendment will be made for the purpose of favoring or disadvantaging a particular participant, and Sponsor will not materially alter the method of determining the winner after competition has begun except when necessary to address circumstances that make the published method impossible or unlawful.
